Chocolate Fudge Walnut Brownie

2 eggs


½ cup chopped walnuts 


1 cup granulated sugar 


1/4 teaspoon Baking powder 


½ cup butter 


½ cup maida (flour) 


1/4 teaspoon salt 


1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa 


1 teaspoon vanilla extract 


Chocolate Walnut Icing: 


1/4 cup chopped walnuts 


1 1/3 cups icing sugar 


3 tablespoon butter 


2 tablespoon cocoa 


2 tablespoon milk 


¼ teaspoon vanilla 

  Instructions
 

 




· In a mixing bowl, blend butter, sugar and vanilla together.


· Add eggs and beat it well with an electric mixer or a fork.


· In another bowl sift flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt together.


· Gradually blend this dry mixture with the egg batter.


· Add the walnuts.


· Take a greased and floured baking pan of 8 or 9 square inch and pour the batter into it.


· Bake the brownie in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until the brownie pulls away from the sides of the pan.


· Prepare the icing and frosting while the brownie is still warm.


· Put the powdered sugar in a bowl and over low heat melt 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine in a small saucepan.


· Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa in the butter and blend until smooth.


· Add milk and stir constantly over low heat till the mixture thickens slightly.


· Pour the hot mixture over the powdered sugar and beat until smooth.


· Add ¼ teaspoon of vanilla and ¼ cup chopped walnuts.


· Spread warm icing over the warm brownies.
