Ultimate chocolate Fondue

One of the basic rules to remember while making this fondue is to have a low flame below the fondue dish.  By doing this the chocolate fondue will not break or separate.  If the flame is too high it can even make a mess of the fondue.

Preparation time: - 15 mints


Ingredients:




· 8ounces of baking Chocolate.  (Best and finest quality at least 70%)


· 1 cup heavy cream


· 1 cup fresh strawberries


· 5 Apricots


· 1 pear peeled and sliced


· 1 cup grapes (seedless)

  Instructions
 

 




· Cut all the fruits and keep aside.  If the fondue is not being made immediately you can refrigerate the fruits.


· Crush 8 ounces of dark chocolate into fine pieces.  Take a double pot and melt the dark chocolate.  Keep a watch on the water below, it should not boil at any point.  Keep it simmered. 


· Keep stirring the chocolate till you get a smooth mixture.  Avoid forming any lumps in the melted chocolate.


· Once the pieces of dark chocolate turns soft and melts, gradually add 1 cup of fresh cream.  Continue to blend this mixture till the chocolate and fresh cream blend well together. 


· While melting this mixture, again keep a watch on the water below.  It should not start boiling at any point. 


· You can serve this ultimate chocolate fondue immediately. 


· Decorate with fresh strawberries.


While serving place cooled fruits in a platter besides the fondue.  You could use chocolate cookies also to serve along.
