Chocolate Turtle Fondue

This fondue is beautiful and just perfect for any special occasion.  This fondue is specially flamed with liquor and you can serve it with the finest fruits to add to the beauty of this fondue. 


Ingredients:




· 1 cup chocolate milk


· ½ cup plain milk


· ¼ cup of sweet caramel syrup


· 2 tablespoons of rum, (151% proof to flambé it)


Special Ingredients to dip into the Fondue:




· Fresh ripe fruits- Strawberries, pineapple, plums etc


· Soft marshmallows


· Cheesecake cubed (plain cake would also do)

  Instructions
 

 




· Take a microwave bowl and add to it 1 cup of rich milk chocolate and soften it. 


· Start heating ½ cup of plain milk in a special fondue dish. 


· Once the milk is hot in the fondue dish, add slowly (don’t let it splatter) softened milk chocolate.  Stir well till both get mixed thoroughly. 


· Now add ¼ cup of caramel in the centre of the chocolate mixture.  Let this caramel set into the mixture well. 


· At the time of serving this delightful fondue, gently pour 1 ½ tablespoons of your favorite rum on the top layer of the chocolate fondue.  Keep aside ½ tablespoon of rum, to ignite it using a special lighter. 


· Now using a flaming special spoon, ignite the remaining rum onto the lovely chocolate.  Wait and allow the ignited flame to completely burn off.  Sprinkle over it finely crushed nuts and using a wooden spoon, neatly spread in all corners.


Serve with fresh fruits, cheese cake and soft marshmallows.
