Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies - 2

Chocolate chip cookies taste the best on the day they are baked. But they can stay fresh for a couple of days in a airtight containers. If your child likes them try them giving them with milk. They taste heavenly with milk. Try this recipe of cookies to make soft and chewy cookies.


Ingredients:


1 egg


1 egg yolk


335gm of chocolate chips


15ml vanilla


100gm white sugar


220 gm brown sugar


250 gm flour


3gm salt


2gm baking powder


170gm of soft butter

  Instructions
 

In a bowl sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Cream butter and both the sugars and then add vanilla, egg and egg yolk. Then lightly fold in the flour mix and beat till creamy and fluffy. Add the chocolate chips and then drop on baking trays using a rounded spoon. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 to 17 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Another tip that I will like to give you here is that if you are using self raising flour then is no need to use baking powder.
